So recently my mother switched from dial-up to Clearwire. I was excited to hear that they have “high speed internet”. It was pretty awesome, that was the first few weeks. Then it started to slow down…
I got a ps3 for my birthday with modern warfare 2, so I go online… and it took 5 mins for one match, worst part is that I had 1 bar!!! One fucking bar… it was lagging like a motherfucker. It lagged so bad i got kicked out. So today I had a online chat with clearwire and they wanted to troubleshoot, but I said hell no, your internet is like one step ahead of dial-up and why bother wasting time when I freaking reset the piece of crap modem. Now they’re saying its my computers, I tested it on 4 laptops and a desktop, all brand effin new.
They also said it was my ps3, its brand fucking new came right out of the boxes. I told them, fuck shitwire I am going to tell my mom to get GCI cable internet same price as snailwire but it’s 100 times faster.

I also have Clearwire and play MW2 regularly. I can generally squeeze 3 bars out of my modem and thats enough to enjoy a fairly lag-free game. However the service is unreliable and does cause me to drop out of games and parties regularly. Weak sauce Clearwire. Please don’t tell me my Xbox is the problem or I will have to put in a call Bill Gates.

Sorry but they have wasted my time (about 128 hours now) my money ( $320)
And they have a shitty attitude

i agree with all the previous messages. I was also very happy to hear about there new 4g and wimax technology and as the previous time i got suckered into a 2 year contract they SUCK BIG TIME!! there techs just try trouble shooting but the whole issue is speed. its just like dialup and at times even worse. i have never been so unhappy with a service provider as i have been with clearwire( or clear now). there name says it all, it just vise versa. its not clear as to where they stand inregards to speed,trouble shooting or tech wise. i have done everything on my part to boost my signal, i even suction cupped the modem to my window to get four bars and its just B S. those bars are useless ang my lag is not even funny how bad it sucks anything i mean anything even my internet sharing to my computer is faster. ABOUT THE ONLY THING YOU CAN USE IT IS TO BROWSE ON THE NET ON YOUR COMPUTER BUT THATS IT AND EVEN THEN IS SLOW. I WISH SOMEONE WOULD OPEN A LAWSUIT FOR FALSE ADVERTISEMENT SO THAT I CAN ATTACH MY SELF TO IT. ITS HIGHWAY ROBBERY!! SO DON’T BUY FROM THEM AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL GO BROKE SOME DAY..
