What is ClearwireBlows?

ClearwireBlows is the little guy’s soapbox to express facts, opinion and general disdain for the poor internet service provided by ClearWire. This blog is dedicated to one particular purpose, to cause enough wide-spread bad publicity for ClearWire that they’ll be forced to improve their incredibly crappy service. Some opinions are stronger than others because they have been personally and professionally affected by ClearWire’s failure to fulfill their end of the service bargain.

I intend to use the ClearwireBlows website as a platform to educate potential ClearWire customers on the HIGH possibility of poor service they are likely to encounter when signing up for ClearWire.

Who is the ClearwireBlows author?

My name is Gary and I’ve been a ClearWire customer for almost 3 years. I live in a rural area where ClearWire is pretty much the only High-Speed internet provider. Although it fails miserably, it is my only option save for dial-up (which recently has been looking extremely pretty), though it has become increasingly worse over the recent months. When I first signed up with ClearWire I actually had good connectivity, as the months went on the service slowly declined. Eventually I found out they oversold their service in the area and since only 1 tower serves the area it is saturated. During peak times (6:00pm to 11:00pm) the service is so slow you can hardly check your email.

The main reason I started this website, regardless of the many complaints, ClearWire still advertises and sells their service in this area as High-Speed knowing full-well that the tower is overloaded. I’ve had Level 2 Techs and 1 Engineer tell me the tower is saturated, they know about it and they plan to fix it. I’ve been told this same garbage for 6 months. I work online, as a Remote Call Support Specialist and I attend College Online… since ClearWire service has waned significantly in the recent months my professional and academic pursuits have been affected severely.

However, I know well enough that I am not the only one that has been severely impacted by ClearWire’s failure to deliver, which is why I plan to keep this website up until they either a:) go out of business, b:) fix their poor service or c:) pay me enough money to take down the site and move to a location that does not limit me to ClearWire as an only option for internet service. I assume the website will be around for years to come since they are still able to dupe customers into believing their sales pitch, they don’t care that your internet service sucks so long as their pockets are padded and as is quite apparent they don’t care about how negatively people view the company.
